I saw on TV today (8-31-10) that congress is going to haul Roger Clemens into court for lying to them back in April.
In April Roger was questioned about the use of steroids and other performance enhancing drugs. Now, I ask you, who really cares?
It’s not like this is something new, doesn’t congress have more important things to spend their time on and more importantly spend our tax dollars on. These circus events cost millions of tax payers dollars to fund.
You and I know this is just a diversion and the real issues are the economy, unemployment and wars. If these issues take a back seat to Roger Clemens taking steroids, then life is really, really, dumb these days.
Now, in October of 2010, congress is getting set to bring charges against Roger for lying in the initial hearings. Again, do you find the timing suspicious since the congressional elections take place in November?
Out of all the problems we pay these guys in Washington to take care of, how is this steroid thing even on the list? The words to describe this go beyond dumb.
Judged By Liars
Besides Congress trying to divert our attention with this fiasco, some congress members themselves who are tax dodgers, alcoholics, bribe takers and hiring illegal help claiming they didn’t know it, these are the people who are judging Roger on this steroid thing, what a joke.
I say again, with all the other pressing problems in this country, do they have to spend our time and money on this issue?
How dumb do they think we are? I guess they think we’re pretty dumb because they continue to get away with this crap time and time again.
Maybe we just don’t care anymore – It’s like a kid who keeps testing their parents to see how far they can push things. It seems our elected officials are trying the same tactics and they are getting away with it right in front of our faces.
I’m telling you folks you better hide you vitamins, it might seem far fetched but one day we could wake up and find ourselves being in violation of some law passed at midnight requiring us to surrender our vitamins, that is unless the doctor prescribed them.
